Probably won't be back online today or maybe late because between the tears and panic I made an avain vet appointment and it's an hour and a half drive from here. I told the vet what Sadie is acting like and he wants her in now! This vet is highly recommended so I feel good about it.

Oh....hang in there Cyn! I know how you feel. I am at work today but a nervous wreck! I'll only be here a half day tomorrow because Jack is getting an abdominal ultrasound in the afternoon. They suspect pancreatitis......poor guy.

Dinner tonight will be pork chops -- either grilled or pan fried, stuffing, and steamed vegetable medley.

Yesterday's Chicken alfredo was great. I coated the chicken in a cornmeal mixture then baked it before slicing it and putting it on top of the alfredo. I finally found a pre-packaged alfredo sauce without soy (buitoni) so I don't have to make the sauce from scratch anymore (unless I want to).

Tonight is Lasagna with those no boil noodles from Barilla. I love lasagna, but don't have a pot big enough to boil the noodles, so I've always had to break them in half. Doesn't change the taste any, but it's a real pain. Hopefully these work and I'll be able to make lasagna more often again.

My first 2 days back to work went alright. I just spent the two days relearning the prices and the new procedures. It's not like we have that many customers.

Snow on the ground here and they say a high of about 11. My mother is in TX visiting her mother and called to tell me it was 80 degrees there yesterday.
