I know where those pork chops came from that will be on my table soon...And how to grow them from the ground up...Still dreaming about growing, canning, freezing, all of my own food...I don't use melamine in anything to raise the protein level...

Now for the chops...Getting to late to slow cook them under tomato and onions and mushrooms...Looks like a quick saute in EVOO tonight...Nothing fancy...But they will be good.

Hello all, haven't been here in ages! Too many pages to catch up on, but everyone is well.
Tonight we had sirloin tips, mashed potatoes, gravy and corn.
I am going to try and go back a few pages and see what delicious meals everyone has been making.

Sounds good Lacey...I thing the wife may prefer to cover in cream of mushroom soup for a minute before taking up...I'm not going hungry either way...

You got that right because that's where your next meal comes from!! LOL I just told Mr. L how I "stretched" the soup and he said 'if anyone can do it you can". He got a hug (me too).

Dinner tonight was one of my favourites- fish pie.

I make it with smoked cod, hard boiled eggs, parsley, lemon juice and seasoning under mashed potato with a cheddar cheese topping.
