Good Morning foodies..
It is still early but I am probably going to make some chicken soup with the leftovers.
Rotisserie chicken ended up being roast chicken instead. I put it on the rotisserie which holds a 7 lb chicken but the chicken was 7.48lb and it was too heavy to turn so had to pop it in the oven..otherwise good.
George your dog is beautiful...love the expression. We also have the same front door!
Lacey here's hoping Mr. L has a good day.
MWBW...those cabbage rolls sound so good.
Jaxson speaking of idiot drivers. I live in a residential neighborhood but people like to cut through here to get to the main road and man they are flying over this snow and we have a lot. It is a white out here. My fear is that I live on a corner lot and when they come whipping around the corner I pray they don't whip into our house. We have already lost about 6 feet of hedges this year.

Charley good to see you here.
Have a great day everybody!
Some years back (like maybe 50 years ago) we lived in a house on a corner lot......one night a car came right across the porch and into the front room....smashing thru one of those old console TV's....the room was a wreck....as was my mother who was up late watching Jack Parr!

Yikes! Hope Mom was ok! We had one of those stories, too, when we lived at the end of a long street that took a 90-degree turn right at our driveway. Some drunk came roaring up the street at about 50 mph in the wee hours of the morning, totally blew the turn, hit our curb, became airborne, landed in the back end of my car which was in the driveway and which then lurched forward into our family room, caving in the entire front wall. To add insult to injury, the idiot then backed up and DROVE AWAY! The police never did catch him, and we had two deductibles to cover, one on the car and one on the house.

There seems to be a new trend at least here of cars and trucks hitting houses. Hopefully we will never be one of them. It took us three years to finish our house and that would not be fun.
Elston what a horrible experience for your Mom and a miracle at the same time that none of you were killed.

It was horrible......it knocked over a radiator and hot steaming water went everywhere.....and the car was sitting in the room and mom said the next thing she saw was the drivers hands reach up from inside the car and touch the windshield....and then slide back down.....The ambulance was there soon after that.....from what I remember.....it was many years ago....it was alcohol and not weather related.
