Cyn knew you'd be flying-hopefully I'll be seeing my babies about the same time.

Sun's out and roads look okay. Want to get an extra memory card for my camera plus lithium batteries, check on new tires, get my fitting and go see my hunk of love.

Good morning everyone!

I love reading everyone's weather, because then I see what type we're in for here in NJ. The weathermen are predicting snow/rain late this evening and a snow event for Sunday night into Monday. I just hope it will be ok Sunday evening because my son and his g/f are coming from Long Island this afternoon and won't be leaving until tomorrow evening.

I'm making a big meal tonight for my guests.
salad
Filet Mignon w/mushrooms
Baked potatoes
Broccoli
Biscuits

Have a wonderful Saturday!

Sounds good, DKVA. What's your recipe for the brown rice with peas and mushrooms?

I am at work now, about to get started on making a million copies for these massive audit files. At home, probably driving DH crazy, I have my big ole chuck roast in my dutch oven at 225. Not sure when I'll be home but I don't think you can really overcook chuck roast. It'll shred itself for my tacos if I leave it there long enough.

Good afternoon foodies

Been trying to catch up.....may the ill be feeling better today, the tired get take-out and the creative keep creating.

Tonight I have no clue but I am smacking myself as yesterday I had decided last minute to take scallops out of the freezer for dinner and then we decided to do take-out which was fine but when I got up this morning the scallops were still sitting in the bowl..........OOOOOps
Expensive waste of two pounds of sea scallops.

Cyn a new countdown for you instead of the cigs it is a countdown for Amber.that is exciting.

Skbs hopefully chatterbox is better today.

Well I did know she was coming out and in March but not the exact date. She has been planning this for a couple of months now but the dates keep changing. Now we have a date and that is exciting for sure! She will be staying at my sons/her brothers house for part of the time and then here at our house for a part of the time. Of course even while she is at my sons house we will be going down to visit and play!!

Last night I opted for the Fisherman's platter.....a surplus of clams, scallops, shrimp, haddock, and french fries....my dear partner had teriaki scallops and sirloin tips , they had a good salad bar and with home made vegetable chowdah.....It was very good.....we will be going back....and the lobsters we saw served looked great....3 for $21.
