does anyone come home from work, at 6:30 then begin dinner? which may just cook for 1 hour? I float home, fight the traffic, and then job 2 begins. then when you have pets, kids, and elderly parents? how do you do it? Then the house, the wash, floors?
then up the next day! then if you are on your own, the burden is all yours? also why do we do it? yes some need doing, but.
some may slide?

now that I am back in the workforce, yes, I do it too. I am getting back in the swing of making most of my meals on my off days, freeze them, and then wave them. Thank goodness I dont have small children, DD helps with the housework as does DH. The house is suffering, but I cant hire help, so I just do what I can, and try not to beat myself up that things arent perfect.
I agree LaceyEx....but I could be wrong. I'm always learning new things here. Still, in my mind that's the way I look at it too. Gravy/sauce.
Kshe..I also have Greman on both sides..but a bit of English mixed in--it's my hubby that is 100% German. Even his last name is German--means worker! He is also a big gravy person.
Bernaise sauce has tarragon in it. I use it mainly for chicken dishes such as Chicken cordon bleu..so good. It adds the finishing touch.
Hollandaise sauce is a step up from white sauce...for veggies(asparagus). I don't use that too much but love Bernaise...
Right now I am being good and am not using any sauces whatsoever...
