Well, it looks like clean out the fridge night will be tomorrow, since DH has a hankerin' for our favorite buffet place.
We just joined Costco, so I'm sure we'll be trying out some of the wonderful dinners you folks have talked about. We bought a package of prime rib - the whole rib. We'll cut it into steaks and roasts and fill up the freezer. Also got a couple of chickens and a pizza. Gosh, I'm hungry. Is it dinner time yet???
Good afternoon all. I decided tonight is whatever you can find cook it yourself. I have some leftovers, cold cuts, sald, etc that need to be eaten. I still have a craving for pasta but will wait til the leftovers are gone!
I'm going to make chicken in this, I don't know what to call it....I guess a creamy scampi sauce. Anyway, you get seasoned chicken tenders and cook them in olive oil, take them out and put in a little butter and saute some green onions. Then I add a scampi sauce my grocery store carries in the seafood cold case and scrap up the chicken bits and such and then add a jar of alfreado(didn't say this was a light dish, lol). I then add the chicken back into the pan and heat through. I top with some chopped cilantro. I'm going to serve it over pasta and with a salad. Maybe some garlic bread.
