One thing about Pizza Hut is that no one else is like theirs. Little Caesar's and Papa John's are both more like pizza you might find in an Italian restaurant. So the hut is good when you want something different.

I also like Godfather's for the same reason. Unfortunately they no long have them in my area. But I really loved their beef topping on medium crust. I don't know if they have different crust options, but I recall it being neither very thick or thin.

Papa Murphy's doesn't cook your pizza, so that is definitely out.

I'll vote Papa Johns veggie pizza, easy on the cheese.

I guess Papa John's is mine although Pizza Hut would be if they werent' so inconsistent in cooking their crusts. Sometimes it's fine, other times it is undercooked and "doughy". Ugh!!

I miss Little Caesars! They disappeared from our area in the 90s; now we can only get their "bake at home" pizzas when kids are selling them for fundraisers. Do they still do "pizza pizza"?

I like Pizza Hut's thin crust--it's super thin and crispy like a tortilla. I like Papa John's toppings much better, but their thin crust is kind of cardboardy. If I could have Papa John's toppings on Pizza Hut's thin crust, I'd be thrilled. I'm not big on thick or soft crust pizza.

I recently discovered Naked Pizza, and like them. But they tend to be stingy with their toppings. (I like my sauce, cheese, and other toppings to go right to the edge--I don't want an inch and a half of empty crust).

Never heard of Papa Murphy, and I don't think there's a Godfathers in my area either.

Dominoes is generic, and reminds me of the college dorm days, ordering at midnight after drinking for hours. If I'm totally starving or wanting to reminisce about college, I'll force-feed myself Dominoes. They also tend to be too saucy for me--I have to tell them "easy on the sauce."

I can't stand Pizzeria Uno. I hate deep-dish mucky pizza with all that sauce. I want thin, crispy, cheesy, and low on sauce. But that's just me; I know lots of people love Uno.

This isn't really a pizza chain, but it's still a nation-wide store: I LOVE Whole Foods' pizza! Go to the prepared food section and try a bunch of pieces of all their pizzas they have made. Super-thin, crispy crust, and a great selection of toppings that are largely healthful.

Living in the Chicago area, we are spoiled here with good local pizza places. I forgot how awful pizza can be just about everywhere else. Most pizza chains aren't very good. Its between Pizza Hut or Dominos as the worst. Little Ceasar's is at least, cheap and quick. Papa John can be OK at times. Most of the time its a local joint.

Uno's for national franchise, especially since they serve both NY style and Chicago style pizza as well as other menu items. They have beer too.

Then there are regional franchises that are hit or miss. In the New England area I like Sal's Pizza and Flatbread Pizza Company.
