Could work but the person has to fit the bill very specifically.
For aviators unless you go really high end like Tom Ford Persol Etc. stick to military brands for the real deal like Randolph Engineering and AO eyewear. Its the best bang for your buck and you will see how nice they look. They put Ray Ban aviators to shame.
I wear Solar Shields. They fit over eyeglasses. I don't know what they cost new, since I buy them for $2 at thrift stores. I tend to lose them and stock up occasionally.

I love my Randolph sunglasses, squared-off aviators. Way better than RBs for me.
Not my style, but if you like them, great! They're a tad bit steampunk style to me.

Re: the 3 brands I bolded, I've never heard of them...I've got to check them out!
I have four identical pairs of prescription shades (one in each car, one in my purse, one seems to be missing), two pairs of OTC by the back door, and a pair of OTC readers. Turns out I don't read much out in the sun, but if I ever do, I'm ready!

Great idea since you can afford it! Now you can just keep each pair in its own location.
