Looks like the jeans we wore in the late 70's-80's...Ugh! I dislike them high-waist, really bind your guts, only thing they were go for was you could not overeat.. LOl

I saw an actress on a sitcom who has been wearing high waisted wide leg jeans. She is very thin and even on her, they are not attractive at all.

Those jeans are a new cut. No grandpa has ever worn anything like them. Not boyfriend either. They look like a baggier version of the Levi’s women’s 512 from the late 1970s, after the low-waist flares of the earlier 70s; the 512s were very popular.

All the grandpas I know wear Levis. Preferably the ones with a skoche more room in the seat.

Ita....some people are taking the name for the style too literally IMO & not understanding the cut or fit or nuances.....shrugs.
