Years ago I thought ponchos were ridiculous---but the cold shoulder look has become my new poncho! Surely this will fade soon. I just don't think it adds anything to the look of the garment or shows off a body feature. It just shows a patch of skin on the upper arm! I guess it gets me going because it shows how people can become sheeple. I don't think all these people ever woke up pining to expose that portion of skin---just a clothing manufacturer did it---some people jumped on it because of the novelty so more manufacturers started to do it and more people buy it...
The shoulder is an area most of us can respectably expose. It normally is not fatty or untoned. I think that is the reason women like the style. You do see cold shoulder styles in clothing meant for older women.

They are especially disgusting when worn by people working in an establishment where I am buying food. I can't tell you how many time I have gone cashier "shopping" at Whole Foods, to avoid looking at those things. Frankly, I don't understand why management doesn't understand how off-putting they are.
But if we want good coffee, those types are the best, bonus with tattoo sleeves.
Dresses and tops that are asymmetrical from side to side (one side higher than the other)...ridiculous. Slightly lower in the back compared to front is ok.

I like that look. In fact I'm thinking of buying one of those leather jackets with a diagonal zipper and other diagonal elements. It gives a bit of a rebel look.

I should have clarified that I was referring to asymmetrical hems. Diagonal zippers are fine and in fact I have one myself.
I kind of like asymmetrical hems. I don't wear them all the time, but I think they're more flattering than a straight hem that draws a line right across my hips.
What I hate are the tops that are significantly longer in the back than the front. But I'm short, and they just make me look stumpy, so it's just a matter of them not working for me.
