I always think it's funny when people say tattoos are trashy, but stumble over themselves when I show them mine.

"Oh no, not YOURS, yours aren't trashy!"

Not saying you do that, just in general.

I've seen some very trashy tattoos

But I've seen gorgeous body arts, like Ed Hardy's vintage tattoo, and the works done by Jeremy Swan!!!

I think when people say "trashy" they have the stereotypical images on their minds.

I do that all the time. and I am glad somebody corrected me and put me in my place, so I can correct myself right away.

Oh...believe me... I hate crappy tattoos. I had a roommmate whose tattoos were almost all done by random people he met on the street while he was on drugs. Apparently, a big pot leaf with an alien smoking a joing done by some heroin addict was a greaaaat idea at the time.

I just hate getting lumped in with those people because my tattoos are very well done, thought out and aren't offensive in any way.

Yeah! I think some tattoos can be very tastefully done. I really like vintage tattoos.

Jeremy Swan does some amazing works.

Oddly, I think the linework, shading and color in the after isn't all that great on that particular tattoo, but I've seen some of Jeremy Swan's work through a friend of mine and it's still pretty nice
