The turn offs thread has me thinking about this. Am I the only person left without tattoo's and piercings?

No

Tattoo's have become a blase, trendy fashion statement in my opinion.

You are happily married, right? Who cares! I think this the kind of thing that cannot be quantified. As long as the partners have similar feelings, it is a win-win.

Sometimes I think I'd like a tattoo. But I've never seen something that I wanted permanently etched onto my skin.

My ears are pierced but no tattoos. I wouldn't mind a white ink tattoo but like you, I just haven't found or thought of anything that I would want permanently.

In the early 90s, I kept think I would get a tatoo and I was pretty sure it would be the Pearl Jam stick man figure from their "Alive" CD single. But I decided, what is the rush? I could wait and finally decide once and for all. As of today, I have still not got one and I guess I'm not at this point. I agree with the comment that they are blase at this point and past trendy.

In a small town in South Carolina back then, I was one of a small group of guys that even had an ear ring, much less one in both ears. Like I said, small town South Carolina.

None here... not even my ears (and I always think it's funny when I get pierced earrings as a gift). My parents told me not until I was 16 could I get pieced ears, but by the time I was 16 everyone seemed to be trying to be unique and outdo each other by getting more and more piercings. I decided to be unique by getting none.

I got my belly button pierced and that is about it. I don't wear earrings.

I got a small tattoo on my index finger (an upside down cross) when I was a teenage. I was stupid and immature. I got that lasered off. The scar reminds me that I was stupid and impulsive. It is a learning experience for me.

I personally believe tattoo is kind of trashy but then again, it is just my personal opinion.
