The OP isn't talking about bubble butts (which btw I have seen WW with bubble butts). He is talking about the whole package--big butt, thick legs, flat stomach, wide hips, and overall "sexy" look-something black video models are known for. Christina A. is a good example of a thick white woman. TBH I haven't seen many WW that are thick like video model thick, beyond Coco(Ice T's wife) and Christina A. Though I'm sure there are WW that are thick. Just where I live most are either slim or fat. The "in-between's" that I've seen wouldn't be considered thick(using the criteria BM use to define thick).
Honestly most WW don't want to be thick, they strive to be slim or thin. I just don't see it that often(and I live in the south). I see fatter WW, or WW that are bigger than the stereotypical thin WW, but rarely have I seen a "thick" WW.

Very true. Although it is definitely more in, in some circles. (Ahem Crossfit girls)
Personally, I believe in maximizing what you have. If you have thick thighs, no amount of dieting and exercise is going to change your body's natural tendency, so just work with it.

This is true. I like the way crossfit women look though-it isn't thick as in video model thick, but as in "lean" and fit type of thick. I do have thicker legs and always have(even when I was a toddler lol), and even when I was at my smallest my legs still looked bigger than what I wanted. So I'm learning to work with it. The weird thing about Christina is that she was always thin--now she is thick and it just seems so random. I actually like her thick though better than thin(and that is a lot coming from me because I usually think women look better thinner).

I think motherhood "thickens" a lot of women. Something about the pelvis widening or something.
One of my friends was completely hip-less and butt-less before she had a kid. Now she is adjusting to having slightly more hips.
I probably have a bias that is 100% related to comments from my mom. I personally like when women have thicker legs (and I am also one of those who was born with them). I get weirded out when people's arms and legs are super thin [nothing personal to those of you with thin limbs ].

I had a baby a year ago. It didn't make my hips any bigger, but I do have a friend that got bigger hips from having kids.
You're observing the increasing percentage of overweight individuals, which extends across all age ranges. When you were younger, you weren't seeing as many tubs in that same age range, as you are now, simply because there are more of them today.
