Ladies, do you prefer artificial nails or natural nails? And do you frequent a nail salon or do you do your own nails?
Always have a fresh pedi, do it myself. I like all colors on toes, preferable reds. Nails on hands are short with clear polish. I find that more refined.
I prefer natural nails. I alternate between going to a salon and doing my manicures myself--mostly, I do them myself. I usually get pedicures done at a salon.
My natural nails are extremely weak and rip and tear very easily no matter what I do to care for them or how short I keep them. So I get acrylics so my hands don't always look like a hot mess. If I had nice strong nails that could withstand simple everyday tasks, I would probably keep them natural.
Natural nails. I hate the look of fake nails, especially those square french tip ones.
I used to do all sorts of colors on my nails, but now I prefer the greiges and taupes with the occasional red or darker colors (navy(s), blacks). I never go to salons.
Natural.....and I do my own. Mine grow quite fast and they are quite sturdy....no need for "fake" nails. I don't like that square-edged look....my nails have a natural curve, so a rounded edge looks and feels best.
I stick with mauve/pink/neutrals......they 'go' with anything. In summer, I may go a bit brighter, with a fushia-toned polish. Both toes and fingers! Hate long toenails, too!

I like my natural nails and I like to do my own nails. I usually wear pinks and I really like glitter polish although its a pain to remove.
