If you're caucasian it's harder to pull of the completely shaved look.

IMO; race/ethnicity doesn't play a part with this. It's more about the shape of the man's head. Peanut shaped head vs. a rounder head. The latter is more attractive.

Bruce Willis (Caucasian); pulls it together quite well.

Bruce Willis has a stylist. Probably 24/7.

A bald head can look good if you are actually bald. A shaved head looks good for about 4 hours. Then it looks like a . . . . shaved head.

Me: I shave it every two or three days. No problem. And IMO stubble looks way better than grey thinning hair.

Up to you. When I had my hair guy do the honors (the last haircut I will ever have) he took it down to an eighth of an inch. Looked fine, but when I shaved, it looked better.

I know what you're going thru-in the valley of decision. Tell ya what. Go to a costume shop and put a skintone skull cap on to see what you would look like. Or do what I did: I put one of my wife's knee-high stockings on my head so she could get an idea of how I would look.

I'd far rather see the "horseshoe" than a shaved head. To me, men with shaved heads either look like Michael Berryman or that they are trying WAY too hard to be cool.

Either way, not a look I want to stare at for any length of time.... and when you're married, you sort of have to look at him.

I disagree, almost every black can pull off the shaved head look. Even the ones with peanut shaped domes. I'd say fewer than 1/10 caucasian guys can pull it off.

It all depends on the shape of the head. The wider your head, the better it looks. But you can also pull it off if you have high cheekbones. I can pull off the bald look, but it's because of my cheekbones not my head shape.

Men who are able to embrace the fact that they are going bald and shave it all off (or really close) are confident. And confidence is sexy.

You're opinion is duly noted, but I still disagree.

Love it !

same here, a close crop beard, (mine is very dark brown).....mean azzz mutha frucka, ain't nobody bother wit me.....

having a beard balances the look and with a shaved head men need some sort of facial hair, if they don't, they begin to look like Uncle Fester.

I think you are right. Many Serbian men shave their heads as most seem to get very early receeding hairlines, and they just look better with no hair. Most do have those high cheekbones and I think that does make them look better due to that very fact. My man shaves his head and does it every 3rd day. When I was there in Sept, he did it in my bathroom and using only one mirror. I asked if he needed to see the back, and he told me that he didn't for he knew his head so well, he could do it in the dark! I was like...ok.....but he didn't miss a spot!
