I've always found it amusing that women shave their legs... all the time... but almost NEVER their hands!!!

In the summer, I see someone at the beach, in a bikini, with clean shaven legs, but as much hair on their hands as my guy - who is pretty close to grizzly. Now, I must say it's a little more obvious on a brunette, than on blondes and redheads.

But, still, what's the logic behind getting rid of leg hair, but not your arms/hands???

Because, if you started shaving your whole body--that's all you'd ever do!!! You couldn't shave the hands, and not the arms..then what about the peach-fuzz on your neck? Why not just dip yourself in wax and get peeled once a week?

You know, "back in the day" women were only supposed to shave to their knees--leaving a wooly mess up above! Hair on arms doesn't bother me--it's nothing like men's hair, anyway!

I do. The arm and hand doesnt grow much at all compared to the leg. And I agree when I see that..it just looks off...Shave,wax or exfoliate it off. it looks better and feels cleaner.

I never even thought of it. Now if I had chin hair that would be a problem, lol.

I've never heard of such a thing. Is this directed at women? What part of the hand has hair? The fingers? I had a childhood male dentist with hairy fingers, back before dentists wore gloves. I can't even imagine a woman with that much hair on their hands.

I'm with andthentherewere3, I've never heard of a woman shaving her hands in all of my 38 years. No one in my family does it either.. I guess we aren't hairy enough LOL I have always been under the impression that once you start shaving something (no matter where), the hair grows back thicker and you can never stop shaving so why on earth would you want to shave anywhere other than the usual girly places??

Yeah, I shave all the important parts - the palms of my hands, the bottom of my feet, my heels and ankles, the front of my neck, my elbows. This is just common practice for most people!!! BTW, new OP, are you Refugee56 aka Dingler aka Goodtype???
