I actually prefer to be relatively clean shaven but my gf won't let me shave off the beard.

She says she doesn't like kissing me when I have the tiny stubble that comes in after a few hours of shaving because it hurts more than the full beard... and really, that stuff is pretty sharp.

I guess in some ways I kind of like it... I do feel more masculine and it's not a bad-looking beard. Plus, I can't shave every day without seriously irritating my skin... my skin looks amazing right after I shave off a beard I've had for a while so I think the beard is actually pretty good for my dermatological health... at least in the facial area.

I love facial hair. Clean shaven men remind me of boys and I can't deal. It just looks horrible.

When I see a guy with a beard, I see a guy who looks natural. People are going for too much of a pruned and primped artificial look. Especially men these days.

I'd like to see manliness make a comeback. Instead of metrosexualism and sissyness.
So many people are completely clueless about hormones and masculinity. Asian men are no less masculine than other races but our inflated egos make stupid associations based on shallow judgement. A beard does not even indicate high testosterone. It indicates that the hair follicles are sensitive enough to testosterone. There's plenty of other manly features like adams apple, large hands, broad shoulders, deep voice, narrow eyes, large square jawline, square chin, muscularity. Theres plenty of baby faced men with a beard. There's plenty of chiseled faced men without a beard. Some men have both.
