When Tom Ford designed for Gucci, I was still in high school. I dreamed about owning some luxurious Gucci items once I graduated college. I never dreamed while watching his fashion shows on FTV (anyone remember that? lol), a day would come where he was no longer creative director.
Gah, I loved his 1996 collection - it was Brilliant!!! It's one of those impressionable stand out fashion moments for me.
I hear that Tom Ford has dove back in to the women's RTW field. This is an interesting article
I do prefer LV over Gucci, but if I had a choice I would ALWAYS choose Hermes. So beautifully made and classic. I have a truly lovely Kelly and an absolutely gorgeous Birkin.
I used to love Chanel, before they started plastering their HUGE logo on every bag. well, maybe not on their evening bags but their totes are virtually unusable due to the huge logo. It absolutely ruins the beautiful lines and lovely materials used to fashion the bags.

Same here.
I also prefer Hermes. LV reigns over Gucci though in my opinion. At least with bags.
I also like Goyard which someone else mentioned in this thread.
Too many people carry LV and Gucci...fake or not. There is no real exclusivity with those brands anymore in my opinion.
How can you tell a fake LV from the real? I have a real LV a have had it for yrs. I bought a fake and I can't tell the difference. Is it the leather?
I am a guy and I can tell!!! The hardware is cheap. The leather straps are the wrong shade. Sometimes it is the bag is a style that LV does not even carry.
Does anyone like Dior bags?
