Russia doesn't get enough credit for advancing carbon free nuclear energy throughout the developing world. That chain link is enormous.

Are you serious? Rosatom is a world leader in the construction and commissioning of nuclear power plants, in Russia and in the world and controls a large share of the global nuclear fuel market. Westinghouse just swallows the dust.

All three, Pfizer/nBiotech, Moderna, and AstraZenece/Oxford, stimulate the body to produce the spike protein and then the immune system is to respond with new antibodies. I don't want the body producing a protein that viruses use to invade cells.

Pfizer/Moderna and Astra have completely different mechanisms: Pizer/Moderna inject data into your cell DNA to teach them how to produce anti-bodies. Astra similar to Sputnik - is a modified adenovirus with some Covid bits added to it to trigger immune response.

None of them "stimulate the body to produce the spike protein" - that's nonsense.

They inject mRNA instructing the immune system to produce the spike protein to which the body reacts by producing antibodies.

You're both wrong. mRNA strands are inside the fat particles. When these particles bump into your cells (usually muscle cells near the injection site) they fuse to the cell and inject their RNA into those cells. The same mechanism viruses use.

But instead of instructions to create new viruses inside that cell (like the virus does) it just tells that cell to make the spikes. You only get a certain number of cells that create spikes because the mRNA doesn't replicate. In a few days the remaining mRNA breaks down. Those muscle cells with spikes get attacked by your immune system and deactivated. Thus your immune system "learns". It's a leap forward in science and we will all benefit from this advance in the future for other diseases.

I will repost this here, from the Politics forum, so that Ruth wouldn't miss it; (since it was a response to her previous post; )

...And of course, as it was expected, Russian propaganda machine took the full advantage of the whole incident and made Putin yet again a super star hit ( as he was not already as it is.)
Watch this yesterday's episode of the Russian "60 minutes" - from 2:46 they are saying that "Biden simply got scared to debate with Putin, but they in the US have a bigger scare at this point, since their Commander-in chief collapsed three times while climbing the stairs of the airplane."
Then they quote Tucker Carlson, and show his segment ( where it's really painful to watch Biden, I have to admit - I haven't seen the whole scene before.)

Then they proceed to Sean Hannity, who is saying that "It becomes the concern of the national security, since it's not only me, Sean Hannity, that sees the poor shape Biden is in, but the rest of the world, the hostile to US regimes including. ( Russians; "This must be us." )
And then of course they proceed to the full show of Putin, who meanwhile enjoys his week-end in Siberia with Defense Minister S. Shoigu. The hills they climb, the clothes they wear, the food they eat ( all made in Russia of course, including vodka that they ( tasteful hint) might have been drinking as well while on the trip.)

Oh boy...
With other words - who could have thought that this whole "killergate" thing would have turned out any differently.
