Are Swedish people really uptight and boring ? (time, Europeans)

Just wondering if most of the Swedish people are really uptight and boring.. I heard that because it's too cold in Sweden, they spend most of their time at home reading or playing board games. I know someone from Sweden who is like this ( he is really very uptight, boring and cold ) that is why it is quite hard to mingle with him. I know it is not good to generalize that is why I am asking if most of them are are like him ?
