Can any one help me translate
"welcome to your new home" to swedish?

the only thing i keep getting is
välkomnande till ditt nya hem

velkommen til ditt nye hem.. or maybe its vilkommen..

im norwegian, you see. norwegians can understand pretty much anything swedish, but speaking it perfectly is kind of hard.

wait, i asked a friend. the correct way of saying it is:

Välkommen till ditt nya hem.

Don't worry. Your exchange student will probably speak better English than you do. That said, trying to welcome him or her in Swedish is a nice gesture.

That's correct. Google Translate would have given the same answer.

Isn't it true that if you are speaking to more than one person, it would be Välkomna till dina nya hem? Sorry, still trying to learn Swedish.
