She's making too much money rallying nutballs. Having to do something mildly legitimate and being held accountable for all the dumb **** she says would cut into that.

As mayor of a town she left it with $23 million in debt. As governor of a state, she quit and left it in a larger financial disaster then any other state. Her track record seems to be less then anything good.

She draws attention, but I know of a lot of things that draws flies and they’re not pretty.

She gets publicity because she is a good looking woman, who likes God and guns.

She is to far right on centrist issues to be the nominee. She may run in the primaries, but she'll never get the nomination.

Well, in his defense, there was a recent study showing that registered Republicans have a lower IQ, on average, than those who are registered Democrats.

That doesn't make them stupid, but still, its food for thought.

"I'm not going to put Alaskans through that," she continued. "I promised efficiencies and effectiveness. That's not how I'm wired. I'm not wired to operate under the same old politics as usual."

She arrived at her decision in part to protect her family, and the State of Alaska, which has faced withering criticism and occasional mockery, and to stop false accusations from the Democratic party and their found bogus ethics probes that have wasted Alaskan's tax money and drained her family's finances hampering her ability to govern. She said leaving office is in the best interest of the state and will allow her to more effectively advocate for issues of importance to Alaska, including energy independence, national security and a Constitutionally free society.

Some lawmakers and activists in Alaska have been doing "everything they can to stymie her progress" and that Palin determined she could no longer "make significant change in the state, without costing Alaskan tax payers in frivolous law suits".

She has been the subject of 15 ethics probes, 13 of which have been resolved by the state Democratic Majority Board, with no findings of wrongdoing. The other two are pending.

God I hope not!

He is Bush's hand pick twin and that coming from a very conservative, independent, with just a few progressive OK's in my head.
