Obama didn't raise the tax on any specific class of people, its a tax on a luxury item which is completely different than his promise. Why do people insist on making these ignorant threads? As if higher taxes on cigarettes could ever be considered a bad thing...

Now THAT is an excellent, logical question - one for which there are few answers...

How about this...

STUPID IS AS STUPID DOES...

That explains the blind anti-Obama sentiment on this forum as well as any other explanation...

Great, intelligent post.

Post for post, the left has repeatedly outdone the right with their angry attacks and hateful name-calling. They can't seem to accept a difference of opinion - even when based on fact - and can't agree to disagree without the name-calling.

That is absolutely ridiculous... this forum is overrun by extreme right-wing Obama haters that call him and his supporters scum, filth, and whole host of other things.

Just look at the threads on this forum and the Politics forum...

The anti-Obama hateful posts outnumber those from the left at least 3 to one...

Wrong.. people are questioning Obamas calculations, figures, spending, and taxes, and how all of that spending will be paid back. That does not make us Obama "haters".. it makes us responsible americans whos' job is to question where our money goes and hold our leaders accountable.

When did I ever show Obama disrespect or call him names? You thought it was worthy though to call me one just because you dont agree with the figures that I have produced, and have confirmed them with numerous news stories. Its not my fault you cant find a news story to support your argument..

Sorry, we're not blind sheep being led just because you say we should be..

Where in my post did I mention you personally???

And again, you have insulted many, many posters - you love to imply that people are ignorant morons... and worse..

If you can dish it out - it is really quite funny that you are so extremely sensitive to any slight insult on the return side!!!

Again, in my post - WHERE DO I MENTION YOU BY NAME???

ROFLMAO!!!

Indeed, he promised repeatedly that 95% of American families would get a tax cut. So it's especially fitting that he chose April Fools Day to implement his first tax increase -- which will fall mostly on individuals and families who do not make anywhere near $250,000 per year.

Early in February, the president signed a law to triple the federal excise tax on cigarettes -- which will jump from 39 cents per pack to $1.01 today. His administration projects this tax hike will bring in at least $38 billion over the next five years.

I'm sure the liberals response will be.. thats ok that he stood there and lied to my face to get my vote.. People should be healthy and shouldnt smoke..
Why can't you JUST be honest. No matter what Obama does because he is of the OTHER party, you will find fault. It doesn't matter in the end. If he ends up being a good president, YOU and YOURS will end up finding a way to reframe the truth (Bush style) to make it seem like he was a terrible president.

I don't know why people like you continue, you are SO clearly biased it makes your words completely pointless. Why waste your time??

Love the partisan blinders by the way, they go well with your face shape.

You are absolutely right... some posters on this forum cannot be reasoned with - they have blind, irrational, and complete opposition to everything that Obama does...

I've found it's best to just laugh at the lunacy of their postings...

They MAY think they have influence via their rantings - but they don't realize that this forum is meaningless compared to the American public sentiment - which strongly supports Obama...

Oh well - I guess there always have to be some frustrated, disenfranchised malcontents in this world - right??? (Let's just hope they're not gun owners!!!)
