I read this article on a Joe The Plumber casket display. Regardless of any affiliation, which I have none, I thought it was done well. It was a play on an old saying and made a point. I am not sure what the outrage was about. It was a display on death by taxes. Are people around here that uptight? I thought it was a creative art piece.

It didn't happen in Raleigh, it happened in Craven County (near New Bern). The simply have Raleigh down as that is where the state headquarters for GOP and the Election board are.
That's just sick. Typical, however, for the way Republicans have run their hate filled campaign.
That is what I am not getting, unless I missed something. It wasn't hate filled. It was a statement that Joe is going to be killed by high taxes. I thought it was kind of funny. Maybe I missed something somewhere.
Just to clarify, this is a thread about the local reaction to artwork. This is in no way meant to be a political debate. This is strictly about the artwork itself and the local over reaction to it.

WRONG!

The officials that are outraged are in Raleigh, so it is a local issue that I am talking about, along with trying to get local input regarding the situation.
