8 years of the last 28 years were democratic:

for example, many workers
have an incentive to acquire more education: since 1979,
the percentage of workers with less than a high school education
has dropped by half, and the percentage with a
bachelor’s degree has risen by more than half.

You decide for yourself which party pushes folly.

In a World poll, Obama wins by a landslide against McCain.

Sanrene and BigJon do have valid points: The world hates America. So if the world wants Obama to be POTUS then that must mean Obama is a component to the end of America.

However, IMO, this assumption is false because the world doesn't really hate America, it hates the policies of George W. Bush for the past 8 years. I've been to asia and europe many times during the past 8 years and have always been welcomed. The world has nothing to gain in the demise of America infact just the opposite.

I think "folly" is going around the world for fifth years overturning democracies and then telling the world you want to spread democracy. I mean the rest of the world may be weak but we are not stupid.

You might be fooled by the propoganda, but the rest of the world isn't.

The US is a valuable asset to the rest of the world and everyone would like to see the US as a positive partner in a revitalized world. However, if the US continues on the path it has been following, it will be taken down.

When the rest of the world gets tired of US hubris and the US empire building it will simply call in it's debt.

Currently, the market is too big in the US for China to let it go. But, as the US has flirt away it's wealth fighting unnecessary wars, China has been busy building markets in the rest of the world.

In Iraq the US is being told it has overstayed it's welcome, in Afghanistan it is losing a war it should have won seven years ago.

But the biggest threat to the stability of the US is from within. The US was divided within before but this election is tearing it apart. On the one hand you have a candidate that is trying to being it together and on the other hand you have a campaign that wants to talk about nothing else but who is pro American and who is anti American.

It doesn't take a genius to see the answer to that question.

In America you haven't a clue. What's your point? Iraq wantsa us to stay until they are comfortable. Same as the Bush plan. Years of fighting communism you were not a history major were ya? You know what the world would be like if it called on it's debt? Devastated destroyed. Without structure.

Communist and socialistic ideals ae not part of America. Unfortunate you missed that part of US history. Go back and review the last century.
