What percentage of small business owners bring home over 250K? That's the question I want answered. If it's more than 25% then I think it's a relevant argument but IMO I think it's around 2-5%.

Default Joe The Plumber: "what if Obama decides that he will tax people making over $ 150 K"

This morning Joe the Plumber was on the Mj Morning show a local radioshow and he made a clear and very good statement. "What if Obama decides that he thinks that people making over $ 150 K are rich enough to pay more taxes?' Obama might think, well they can afford going out for dinner so let's tax them higher"

Obama has flip flopped on many issues and Joe The Plumber is a smart guy and brought up a good point.

Obama is a socialist who should go and live in Europe and see how happy he will be with that tax system.

Why are businesses already going to Ireland or other places...just to pay less and what will be left....lazy people and less motivated people, because why would you work so hard....you better stay under that amount or you should have a large company...but under Obama people will do anything to stay under that amount or the companies will give the bill to the consumer....so in the end we all will loose out!

...and the Christian right will find the same ideas in the Bible. Jesus and his followers advocated sharing wealth. Moses spoke about opening the graineries that belonged to the king and using them to feed the people.

From his lips to god's ears.

You have got to be kidding. You actually take what joe the plumber said as the way it really is.
He's a plumber for God sakes.

I think that is what is wrong with the people of this country.

He don't look at he facts as the really are but fish around for anything to hang on to. In this case there is not much so they have to drag joe the plumber in as to say his word is law.

I don't care what joe the plumber says. I care about the facts on each candidate.
One thing, Mccain accused Obama of 100% negative adds. Turns out, not to be true but McCain himself has his share of negative adds.

Sure McCain seemed tough last night. It was do or die cuz he is sinking faster than the titanic.

Look up the real facts and then decide without a partisan view. Look at the man and what he really stands for.

I will tell you, If you vote for McCain, you are voting for a similar 8 more years of what we have had.
You money is going down the tubes, Our service men and women are spread so thin across the globe, the world hates us, our economy is a bust, peoples jobs are gone and will continue to go, education system is in a shambles, seniors benefits are going up which means less in their pockets, the energy crisis is just that......a crisis.
We depend on Saudi and venezuela. Two countries that have us by the pocketbook.

Lets give Obama a chance. I tell you he is smart and will surround himself with the best minds.

This Joe the Plumber character is obviously a strong Republican, and voting for McCain.

It was so cheesy being used last night by McCain. Pathetic attempt by McCain. Too little, way too late.

I said it in another thread. I am not in favor of a 100% Capitalistic run company. Is it really good for corporations to own and run everything?

Obama is not going 100% Socialist either. I think you republicans that are throwing this around really need to look into it.

Do you guys think the Clinton years were socialist? You know, the years you probably made the most money.
