My customers will NOT have more money to spend; my clients are large hospitals and health facilities and will be hit harder by Obama's taxes than I will. I will close up shop when I am paying 50% in federal taxes and 7+ in state taxes. Might as well get in the welfare line and watch Jerry Springer all day.

When the middle class has more money to spend, the economy does better. More money trickles up, and the upper class end up still benefiting while paying higher taxes.

Why is that smear? It's the TRUTH. That is what we will have with Obama. You didn't even address what I said in my post. I will be paying higher taxes and my clients will be paying higher taxes. I will shut down my business. That is really going to help America when I and other business owners have to lay off people and close their doors, isn't it?

Regardless of who it is....CEO, Senator, McDonald's employee etc...make your own decision and come to your own conclusions. Using other's opinions as your own argument is weak.
I wish I was in 'Joe's' position to even consider buying a business...He must not be *that* bad off...
The fact that you're not in his position doesn't mean he's wrong. It also doesn't give you the right to determine whether or not he's "that bad off"
Last time I checked, he was doing what Americans were always encouraged to do. He's working his way up in the world. If he can buy the business he can hire people. Then they can get a paycheck instead of a handout.

I'd rather Obama give my taxes to families in need, and not McCain who is going to keep lavishing it on his Wall Street Buddies.
You know what, there are plenty of charities that we support, so I would like to have the opportunity to give money to those who will do the most good, with a lower administration costs.
In case you haven't noticed, the welfare system doesn't work...but that could be another long, long discussion.
