And another thing: for all this talk about Obama having supposedly been born in Kenya when his mom was an undergrad student, supposedly on an anthropological field trip: Does the law that these people quote apply to students at US colleges who are on what are basically "study-abroad" trips? Maybe some of you should research THAT!

One of the qualifications it to provide proof of "natural born" citizenship. the proof is on Obama.

These lawsuits are brought on by crackpots who are bitter that Hillary lost, and that McCain is about to.

Let's inject some common sense into this. I checked out flights from Honolulu to Nairobi on Yahoo travel. There were no direct flights between the two. All of the flights flew from Honolulu back to the mainland, had stopovers somewhere on the mainland (a couple had a stop BEFORE the stopover), at the stopover you had to connect to a flight to Amsterdam for another stopover to connect to your flight to Nairobi. The shortest travel time was just under 32 hours, the longest just about 38. What 8 months+ pregnant woman is going to want to do that just to give birth, knowing you'll have to repeat that process with a screaming newborn a few weeks later?

Now, there might have been shorter flights from Honolulu to Nairobi back in 1961, but I still doubt it would be anything less than 20 hours. They're not exactly close to each other.

My guess, is that if at some point he is forced, via a lawsuit or other method to present the document, that it will mysteriously be "lost."

Funny, but I vaguely remember you posting that you are undecided about this natural-born citizen issue. Why would it be your "guess", then, that the document would be myseriously "lost"?

From a legal perspective, since the US State Department and the DNC have both reviewed and accepted the birth certificate as valid and legal, it really is up to Berg to provide evidence, hard evidence, contradicting the birth certificate's validity. The court has NOT issued an order to Obama to produce his birth certificate for examination. Obama has submitted his documentation to the relevant parties, just as McCain has, and is in full compliance with all legal authorities.

After looking over the Washington lawsuit, I think there's a pretty good chance it will be dismissed. Since there is a pending federal lawsuit, the state lawsuit is moot. And there's a question of the petitioner's standing on the issue. The court could even determine this lawsuit to be frivolous. Or it may be that someone else wants to jump on the bandwagon to make lots and lots of money, just like Berg.

First of all newborns are the easiest to travel with because they sleep all the time.

Only if so ordered by the court. No order has been made.

You've been provided proof repeatedly and refuse to accept it. If you want to believe a crackpot lawyer who believes in conspiracy theories and that the US government committed 9/11 so be it. Anyone who believes this crap needs psychological help.

This lawsuit against Washington's Secretary of State is woefully ignorant and it is meritless. The voters in this state do not technically vote for Obama or McCain - they are voting for Electors. The Secretary of State has no responsibility to check either candidates qualifications for office since it is the Electoral College that will actually be voting for those candidates.

When the votes of the Electoral College are brought to the joint session of Congress in December to be read and accepted, that is the time that any Representative or Senator can object that a candidate is constitutionally excluded from election.

The guy that filed the lawsuit has an inherent ignorance about how our electoral process works.

If Obama isn't qualified to be president, all it would take is one member of Congress to object. That is when the birth certificate should be presented.
