I thought that it would be interesting to revisit this post now that the election is over.
A six year term for president seems too long to me, although I like the idea that it would cut back on the costs of elections and all of the advertising that the politicians do.
Given the fact that we do have the option to vote an incumbent out on their second term - I think I'd still prefer limiting to two, four year terms.
We should pay attention to the enormous amount of money that is spent/wasted by politicians to get reelected.
I also believe that term limits for our Representatives and Senators is a no brainer - we'd all be better off with new faces there.

FOR EVERYONE! President, Senate, Congress.

The ills of this country are caused by the "career politician" We would have much better representation if every decision they make didn't have their re-election factored in.
