Unlike the Left-wingers in here (80% I would guess), some believe this will benefit McCain, showing leadership and NOT Grand-standing.
Well, the flash polls conducted yesterday and this morning show (on multiple sites) 80% of people think the debates should go on regardless. We'll see how it plays out in the polls over the next few days.
I haven't even brought up the Zogby poll that has Mac by 2, another poll that has MI tied, another one with PA 2, and two other tracking polls with Mac up by 1 and 2.

The polls are all over the map.
And the RealClearPolitics average has now crept up so that Obama is up by 4 (I believe at the limits of the margin of error), While individual polls may (and will) vary, the average of polls is pretty significant - and pretty consistent - with Obama continuing to gain ground.
Will it continue?
Who knows?
The next two things to possibly affect it are of course the resolution (or not) of the current financial crises and the debate tonight.
It's definitely an interesting election - one like no other.
