In case you missed it: the Sarah Palin skit broadcasted on Saturday Night Live last evening.

At first I thought it was actually Palin. It is hilarious!

Video.

Too funny! And isn't it nice of the GOP to give Tina Fey job security for at least the next six weeks! She really nailed it!

It was terrific. I hope that this thread stays open (unlike the other one) - as these political SNL skits are not just entertainment, they are political commentary in a way. This was not slanted toward either side, SNL tries to keep it unbiased (they made fun of both in this skit). Totally relevant to the presidential election.

I read that Lorne Michaels said there is no way that Tina Fey would want to play the role for years should that be needed (God forbid) but I hope she continues for a while!

We do know that McCain never would have picked Tina Fey as his running mate, she's actually qualified.

Graduated from a tough college too!

Got her job (head writer SNL) by being qualified, not by injecting right wing politics (guns, god, gays) into supposedly non-partisan local politics. Then saying she got there by being a "reformer". Tina Fey really is a reformer, she "reformed" an almost dead, 30 year old skit show from the dead.

And, much as I hate to bring sexism into it. Tina Fey really is HOT.

I thought it was pretty funny. Thanks for the link so I don't have to watch the show. I don't think I've seen it since Eddie Murphy left.

And the Tina Fey AMEX ad was great, too.

Tina Fey stole that skit. She was awesome.

From one girl with glasses to another ... good show! The accent was the best.
