No bounce yet for McCain.

Tomorrow's poll should reflect the Palin speech, will be interested to see if there is any change. Obama has been holding steady.

Gee, weren't the republicans bragging about how they expected conventions to create a 16 point bounce?

For the GOP's sake I sure hope they take a huge lead tomorrow. They'll need something to fall back on when trooper-gate is all over the media in October.

Palin's speech was chock full of lies and half truths. I'd think it would only unify the Dem base from here on out.

We'll see what happens the next day or so...

No, the Craps were wishing a 16 point bounce that never happened. Tomorrow might be a bit more telling and in two weeks when all the dust has settled look for an even race once again.

I remember John Kerry leading most of the polls up until the election in 2004. How'd that turn out?

Not really. It was very back and forth the whole time if you compare timeframes.

I just watched the Palin speech... I thought she was rude, condesending and extremely arrogant. Obama has been through a 19 month interview and been elected to by democratic voters to get here.. Palin has been picked on a whim by a desperate Mccain.

Obama has taken the moral high ground when talking about Mccain/Palin, but she went straight for the jugular. Well, according to the polls, most people agree!

Looks like the Obama camp has broken it open and hopefully the lead will continue to go up. Mcain's hurt himself with the choice of Palin.
