A poll of 1200 people means nothing compared to the population of the US overall. Give me a number of 20,000 then I might listen. Steve

If you understood statistics at all, you'd realize that 1200 could be equal to or greater than 20,000 depending on the makeup of each distinct population.

Folks there are clouds on the horizon and they will continue to make bounce measurement difficult. McCain managed to preempt part of the Obama bounce but may have hurt his own by rushing to select Palin in secret. You still have controversy around her and the most damaging is coming from the Anchorage press. She had a great speech but storm clouds named hurricanes may be front and center stage again. That will provoke discussions about global warming and hydro carbons and green house effect and a much wider range of discussions. Watch Florida and poll results out of there. They are very Jewish and not enamored by the Christian Right and Hurricanes may remind them of the problems off shore drilling can create.

Actually, I would expect the GOP to take the lead for awhile. It's their convention, for crying out loud, the ultimate pep rally. If not now, when?

Obama has taken the moral high ground when talking about Mccain/Palin, but she went straight for the jugular. Well, according to the polls, most people agree!

Rude, arrogant and condescending, yes, she was every bit of that - and the Repubs loved every minute of it.. Didn't McCain say initially he was not going to run a campaign of slease? You can just feel the dirty hands of Carl Rove plunged deep into this campaign. Will American voters see through this? Maybe, if they have any ability *to think and reason* left after 8 years of Bush Brainwashing.

Sadly, a man can go on the same attack and it's "status quo." Watch the polls over the next couple weeks--my guess is Obama's lead will start to widen. Unfortunately Palin is toxic for the Mcain camp.
No. She's only being perceived as a "b*tch" because she's a Republican. She'd be considered a strong, progressive heroine if she was a Democrat.

Hillary is a b.tch and we have had years to see it.

Palin could very well be one as well. We'll see.

Ok and from what I read into your previous posts you are a Republican which sorta proves the point.
