Terrific speaker. Very dynamic. But very arrogant - and she was good at reading a script last night. She's such an outsider that she STILL doesn't see how mocking people (reporters, the left) can blow up in her face. If she's VP, they are also her constituents.

So - she's tough, but I like her even less now than I did before!

So, reporters off limits for criticism? Kinda like how so many fear to criticize the muslim terrorists, and all their shenanigans, eh? Their sh*t stinks too, in more ways than one. Maybe when nasty rabid reporters (MSM, leftist tabloids and smear sites, etc.)ACT more like "people", they will gain more respect. Their profession has gone to hell in a handbasket.

Anyway, I thought Palin very smart, feisty, funny and factual. She will do well. Evidently knocked out the Alaskan incumbent governor of 22 years in the debates there. Should have no problem with Ole Joe.

I am impressed with Palin.

To tell you the truth, it doesn't matter who McCain would have picked for his VP I would still vote for him. There is NO WAY I would put Obama in the whitehouse. You think the last 8 years were bad, put Obama in there and just see what happens .

I was not impressed with the delivery or lack of substance in Palin's speech. Basically, it was the typical Rep spiel - nothing more, nothing less.

Not impressed at all. I found her smug and superficial and her speech was a little too strident and self satisfied for my liking. Predictable and dull too.

I also found her very insubstantial but I gather she will have won over a lot of people , all smoke and mirrors in my opinion but it does impress a lot of people.

In a way she is already an accomplished politician as she demonstrated very ably that a lack of substance is easily overcome with the right empty words and empty sentiments.

As we say in Britain "fur coat and no knickers".

I guess being a beauty queen taught her all the right tricks to throw "glitter powder" into the faces of the judges and it has worked with many. I guess that is why McCain chose her despite her complete lack of experience. He needed a "pretty face" and someone who could "speak " to the hearts of fundamentalist Christians and social conservatives in their own language.

What a shame that once again outward appearances both physical and emotional can fool people so easily.

I found her really disappointing and it's shame as it was very predictable. I hope for the sake of the US that she will sharpen up her act if McCain does get elected because quite frankly almost anyone would be more intellectually impressive.

She got my attention but I am not ready to vote just by one speech. I am willing to hear more from her.

She is an even better speaker than I had thought she would be. Articulate and enthusiastic. She is physically attractive and has a good fashion sense.

She reminded me too much of a high school cheer-leader type (nothing personal against cheer-leaders) --rah-rah-rah, gooooooo TEAM!

Her speech was written for her, of course, so all we have to go on are physical appearance and speaking abilities in which she excels.

I am a Hillary supporter who is appalled by this woman's fundamentalist values which could be forced upon all of us. There is too much hypocrisy in this woman's actions -- for instance, she is a self proclaimed moralist yet her teenage daughter gets pregnant and she is all for it.

You can't have it both ways. Is she for or against teen pregnancy? She must have been against it before she was for it.

She must have still been strongly against it because she took her pregnant daughter out of high school, telling everyone the girl had MONO. Then five months went by and the young couple did not marry. Now -- a 180 degree turn around and all of a sudden it's WORLD NEWS that her daughter is pregnant and what's more -- all of a sudden the girl is getting MARRIED!

Whatever works. Whatever will get you elected. It's not even off limits to use your teenage daughter for political gain.

Not just this one questionable issue but others too are giving me the feeling that this woman will USE anyone to further her goals. Obama and Biden are still my choice by far.

She has a very attractive family, she seemed very enthusiastic and if she were running for mayor of Fort Lauderdale, I might give her a chance, not as VP though, seems a little out of her league. She is a good cheerleader for the Republicans and I guess that's what they determined was needed more than anything.

The single agenda Hillary voters will have a hard time getting behind this ticket. They probably should just stay in the Obama camp, I agree. He doesn't offer much, but he is a staunch pro abortion guy.

I can sum it up with the words of Rev. Pfleger;

"I'm from the south side of Chicago, I'm the chosen one and this is mine"; and out of nowhere came "Energy Independent Sarah Palin" and Obama said "Oh da#m where did you come from? I'm the chosen one, I'm the Messiah and I'm entitled there's an "Executive Moose Hunting Woman" stealing my show!"
There were a whole lotta democrats crying....

The first woman that can hunt the moose, field dress the moose, fry the moose up in a pan all in a skirt with a baby on her hip.
Heck I can't multi-task that well.

She can also solve our energy crisis, kick corruption and our do nothing congress to the curb, be an advocate for special needs kids and maintain integrity and moral values. DC is not ready for Palin...but Palin is ready to clean house and clean house she will as our next VP.
