Gallup Daily: Obama 45%, McCain 44%

I wonder what is going on?

His presumptiouness - prancing around Europe pretending to be CIC?

His failure to visit the troops in germany?

His staged political rally on foreign soil?

His adamant and absolutely ridiculous position that he would STILL oppose the surge, forget about the success it has brought.

His adamant and absolutely ridiculous position that he will withdraw the troops, forget about what the generals say, the Iraqi military says, the Iraqi government says.

McCain is such a weak candidate. Why can't Obama get FAR ahead in the polls? This is really a sad commentary on Obama.

The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Thursday shows that Barack Obama now attracts 45% of the vote while John McCain earns 43%. When "leaners" are included, it’s Obama 48% and McCain 46% (see recent daily results). McCain is viewed favorably by 56% of voters, Obama by 55%. Tracking Polls are released at 9:30 a.m. Eastern Time each day.

There's today's Rasmussen just for fun. Not like polls matter this early in the game, anyway.

The country still officially in a recession, so that won't help Obama. And a lot of people still don't appreciate Obama for hanging around a non-repentent bomber and for not leaving his church with it's anti-American preacher until recently.

Stop with the SMEARS! The bomber, preacher, and racist church we know NOW were NOT the same bombers, preachers, and church he once knew!

That poll was 6 a few days ago. What could be causing Obama to tank so much from his "high" of just a few days ago.

Gallup had him up by 9, rasmussen by 6.

They don't matter to me. In fact, I really don't believe them.

I object and question the credibility of polls that are weighted heavily towards a democrat.

I do wish they would all put out their demographics, especially party affiliation. Gallup doesn't. So I am naturally suspicious of these pollsters, considering they are part of the biased MSM.
