I'm a McCain voter. I don't care about his age or race. But McCain will probably lose the election. Not because McCain is less qualified than Obama, but because alot of voters view this election as a young energetic guy verses a really old guy. Its brand recognition. Jindal and Palin will be awesome presidential candidates once they get a few more years of experience under their belt. And it would definetely have a positive impact on how people view the republican's image. Jindal/Palin in 2012!!!!

All fair points, but nothing can excuse any kind of ageism or racism.

Do you think McCain would have a good shot if he picked Palin? I think a lot of women would be attracted to her (to vote, not sexually).

She has only been governor for a very short time, so I don't think she would be the most qualified candidate this year. But in another 4 years I think she would be a great candidate.
However......people don't seem to care very much about experience these days. They just want somebody young and exciting like Obama. So even though Palin doesn't have much experience yet, I suppose she would make the republican ticket alot more exciting, so the republicans might not want to wait till 2012. She would steal away alot of the Hillary voters.

Obama has the exact same amount of experience as she does? So your calling Obama inexperienced too. Good. Im glad were on the same page.

And she would capture the Hillary voter because she has that appeal. And her dedication to the environment might help McCain win over voters in Oregon to make that state go red. She has been a champion of environmental causes.

Hey, she can make a "Ive got a crush on McCain" video as the VP nominee. How bout them apples.

I would have preferred a more conservative candidate (aka Ron Paul) to front the GOP, instead of the lame, weak neo-con they have now. But I'm pleased that Bob Barr will be on the presidential ballot in MI.

Bar none. It's Bob Barr for president 08
