Don't hold your breath on that one. All Republicans I know would not even consider Obama!

Romney, a less enthusiastic Paul, and Richardson would all have been better choices.

I think our options suck big time this year. I still believe Hillary was the best choice and we are going to direly regret the quick rise of Obama and the blind support the Rep. gave McCain. There is really no good outcome to look forward to from this election.

Lets not forget that Romney was still likely going to keep wasting our money on this stupid war...he may be a good business man and smart when it comes to finances, but his probablilty to keep us in debt through the war would still not make him such a great candidate.

Perhaps a good place for Romney (or any fiscal conservative for that matter) to start would be to begin initating legislation to trim down entitlement programs, which comprise the majority of the fraud, waste and abuse that occurs within the framework of our federal government.

I dont think he would have kept it going on for that long....he was just realistic about how long it would actually take to get out of Iraq. When Obama says 'first day of office' its just a political ploy. He cant really bring troops home that quickly.

I dont buy into Obama's talk, dont worry.

I just also think that Romney would have been on the bandwagon to go to war w/Iran too. Its his strong financial background that I find appealing, his foreign policy stances though are hard for me to get behind.
