President Kennedy told the communists that the US would wage war on Cuba if they weren't removed. There are millions of Cubans in this country who have sought freedom from the likes of Castro and his death squad general Che Gravera. This photo tells them that Obama is not their candidate!
You are old enough to mis-remember history. The Cuban government never had nuclear missles. It was the Russian attempt to place the missles in Cuba which led to Russia and the US having a staring contest. The US said it was going to quarantine Cuba from the sea. Boy, those ships whould have started to shoot at one another!

Get another reason for your political choices.

May we get to the campaign issues now?

DRUDGE REPORT 2008®

It shows Obama dressed in African dress during a trip to Kenya two years ago. The question is: Is this taking fear politics to a new low? Does it show Hilliary's shear desperation?
Interesting....... he is NOT denying that the photo is real? Maybe because.... it IS real?

So what if he is practicing his religion.... Islam??? Who cares. At least in this photo he is owning up to being Muslim. At least now he can stop pretending to be a Christian.

It doesnt help matters that Farrakhan endorsed him today. Now people will be thinking he muslim when Obama is actually a Christian.

Obama dressed that way out of respect for his visit to Kenya..he is NOT muslim.

Remember, Obama is everything and can provide everything, so naturally he's both a Christian and a Muslim.

You think maybe Obama was hanging out with relatives in Kenya? Remember Clinton in Africa in kente cloth? I've seen black folks in kilts and it did not make them Scots.

Some people are willing to believe dumb rumors because they so want them to be true.

Hillary is only hurting the democratic party using this dirty low down tactic...If Obama wins the nomination which he still will, this foolishness could make it difficult for the democrats to win in November. Currently polls show Obama can beat McCain, but im not so sure after this stunt Hillary pulled. She got my blood boiling right now.

No, he did not get his "start" from the Bill/Monica scandal. He had his own website before that event, and he was pretty popular. I'd almost say he was one of the first "political bloggers" out there.

But he can hardly be categorized as a "Republican hack". If you look at his website, he is all about sensational headlines, no matter who it hurts (duh, to get return visitors):

DRUDGE REPORT 2008®

He has posted stories about just as many Republicans as Democrats. And as far as the Bill/Monica deal, he published that another media outlet (MSM) had BURIED the story trying to protect Bill.

In the Obama piece you guys are discussing, he shows pictures of other leaders in native garb (to show that it's hardly a big deal).

DRUDGE REPORT FLASH 2008® (http://www.drudgereport.com/flashoa.htm - broken link)

I've found him to be pretty "pro-Obama" lately, as I've been checking in on his site about once a day over the last month or so.

Any of the highly enlightened folks here ever stop to think that Christians in different countries also where robes and head garments just like the ones you're mischaracterizing?
