The latest Gallup tracking poll has Obama up 49 to 42%, his largest lead yet. Now I know Clinton supporters will claim only the individual state primaries really matter, but what this does say is Obama more and more appears to be the choice of the majority of Democrats in the country.
If this poll is correct, Rasmussen's tracking shows similar results, and the current trend continues, how can Hillary claim to be the preferred choice of the Democratic voters?
If things don't completely turn around Mar 4th, it would be best for the good of the party if she accepted the inevitable.

Unless they've changed their stripes recently, I'd be amazed if the Clintons did what was best for their party or their country. My impression is that Bill and Hillary are all about Billary and nothing much else. If she does step aside and return to the senate instead of dragging out a losing battle, I'll have a lot more respect for her. She still has 4 years remaining on her senate term and will likely be able to hold that seat as long as she wants to, so she'll continue to be a big name in US politics for some time to come, regardless of the outcome of the current campaign.
She is employed by the citizens to do her job professionally, that's why.
Near as I can tell, she's employed by the citizens of New York for now. She won NY right?
