McCain's convention bounce gained from Palin VP pick has been eradicated.
Clip:
Obama now leads by 14 points in handling the economy, and leads by 13 points specifically in trust to deal with the meltdown of major financial institutions. Obama leads by more, 24 points, 57-33 percent, in better understanding the public's economic problems.
After trailing by 17 points, he's pulled even with McCain in trust to handle a major crisis.

*yawn* misleading title for the thread. The overall vote is still neck-and-neck:
Rasmussen Reports™: The most comprehensive public opinion coverage ever provided for a presidential election. (http://www.rasmussenreports.com/public_content/politics/election_20082/2008_presidential_election/daily_presidential_tracking_poll - broken link)

The OP is misleading and you had a good counterpoint if you used the ABC poll for your post like the OP did instead of finding a poll that proably was more to your liking.

Another poll shows it's statistically neck-and-neck with sample error of +/- 2%:
Gallup Daily: Obama Holds 3-Point Edge
A combination poll, with no sample of error available:
Politics - News, Opinion and Analysis from CNN.com

Due to sample errors, every poll I can find is still statistically neck-and-neck.. not like it matters right now anyway.

Another biased poll that they have to load up with 16% MORE dems than reps to get the desired result. So, at the min a 10% gap, at the max a 16% gap.
