Boeing was actually going to move it's operation from Oregon to SC. They already had an engine plant there but the National Labor Relations Board got involved because of it going to be a non union shop. Of course Obama was involved.

Hence they decided to move the remaining plant to China

But people are stuck on Boeing - unlike GE, CEO is Obama's friend, who moved jobs to China. Also look at the tax rate for GE - a flat rate is the way to go - then these companies will pay their fair share. And who says the Republicans are the only ones who reap from Big Business.

Hilarious.

We CAN rescind trade pacts that disadvantage American workers, we CAN impose tariffs, and we CAN deal with attempted retaliation without hurting ourselves..

That's Trump's whole point - we have terrible negotiators who don't know what they're doing.

Those "negotiators" want America to be the world's door mat.

Trump does not.

Good for Trump.

When are liberals and Democrats going to defend American workers?
No, what's hilarious is that a segment of our population thinks that the US can do whatever it wants to and all we have to do is to act like a tough guy and everything will go our way. Really? Why haven't our Republican Presidents have done this, if it soooo easy? Just say fook it and disregard international treaties and conventions whenever they become inconvenient. Hmm, maybe because the other countries might do the same, and we'd have a chaos? Oh, it doesn't matter. Let's chant "U-S-A, U-S-A" and everything will be alright.

Ah, so Boeing moved to China because Obama wouldn't let them move to South Carolina.

It's nice to see Democrats "defending" American jobs --- lol.

Because they have wanted to cater to an international elite (including the very richest Americans and American corporations) that couldn't care less about the well-being of average Americans.

The Democrats have done the same thing.

That you -- a liberal or leftist -- can't see this is, well....I don't even know what to say at this point. I don't think anyone can reach you or your side anymore.

But continue with your fantasy about a Utopia that will supposedly come about if the U.S. remains a door mat for the rest of the world (but very rich Americans and the politicians they buy still prosper). At least no one will be able to accuse you of being racist, nativist, xenophobic, etc.

Boeing's been moving to China for over a decade--'way before Obama became president--as has much of large-plane aviation industry, which has already caused problems for the US Air Force. It's the reason the Air Force can't replace its aging tankers and why Air Force One is still a Boeing 747.

I guess it's too "hard" for liberals and Democrats 1) to see that Trump is actually on their (and America's) side when it comes to prosperity for the middle and working classes, and 2) that being a politician is different from being a businessman.

No wonder, though....Liberals have had total control of our educational system for the last fifty years....
I guess it's too "hard" for those who don't seek the truth to understand that Trump is doing EXACTLY what he is accusing Oreo of doing and he's CRITICIZING them for it. Ok for me to do it, not okay for you to do it.

btw Conservative here. I didn't fall for garbage coming out of Trumps mouth, I looked at his actions. I can't tell who flip flops more, Romney, Obama, or Trump?

Ask Vera Coking if she felt like he was supporting the middle class by using force to get her property.
Anyone who uses eminent domain to build a parking lot is scum.

I didn't see any info in your last link that says Boeing moved to China

Isn't this the plant that Obama was trying to stop?

"In 2012, we delivered our first South Carolina-built 787-8, and less than three years later, we're celebrating another significant milestone – our first 787-9 delivery," Beverly Wyse, VP and general manager -- Boeing South Carolina, says in a statement. "This is an incredible achievement for Boeing, and I'm proud to be a member of the Boeing South Carolina team.

Trump is billionaire and doesn't need to make another nickel for the rest of his life.

He -- unlike other politicians -- is in a position to tell the truth, and make changes that other politicians will never make because they have been bought off by the very special interests that want to off-shore American jobs.

How often must this be said?
1. So it's Nabisco

If his problems are with our government then he should attack those individuals who passed these trade laws, not the companies who are trying to stay competitive. They are just like him, trying to survive in this global market.

2. If wealthy people didn't "need" any more money they wouldn't waste their time trying to make more. Donald trump claims he cares for America and you believe him even though he has never been a charitable person. What would be more important to him to make "America great again" or to get wealthier?

I would agree, but an effective political campaign that depends on memorable soundbites can't be that subtle.

"I'll never eat another Oreo cookie again."

That works.

Only us political junkies are going to get into the weeds about the various distinctions to be made.

Successful businessmen often just love being good at making money. So they keep doing it, even though they don't need more.

Just like some violinists love being a good violinist.

I have no reason not to believe him.

And how do you know he hasn't given a lot to charity?

We know that Biden hasn't.

And the Clintons only give to their own foundation, which foots the bill for all their private jet travel and hotel bills so Bill can make $500,000 speeches all over the world.

The Clintons' "charitable work" has resulted in them being worth $250 million.

I think that they are the first people ever who have mastered the art of "receiving by 'giving.'"

And here Hillary said that she and Bill were "broke" when they left the White House...they had to pay for Chelsea's last year in an expensive private school, to be followed by her going to Stanford....etc....

No doubt, Obama will soon be setting up his own foundation...
