At least the guy is telling it like it is and not sugar coating it like the rest of them are.
He may not be sugar coating what he says, but until he starts saying how his new views are going to govern how he runs his own business, there is no reason to believe he's doing anything more than talking the talk.

Trump has zero chance of winning the election. He would have to win 64 more electoral votes than Romney did, and he needs 40% of the Latino vote. Yeah...good luck with that.

Aren't they all Kirk. It just upsets me that Trump is being singled out when we know practically every politician past and present - talks the talk and few deliver - whether they be a Democrat or Republican. Where is our Hope and Change? I've seen nothing positive from this administration and yet people voted for him again because he talked the talk. Why is Trump the only one who should be given specifics? I see nothing from most of the candidates except for Paul when it comes to specifics. How is Hillary going to be different than Obama - I haven't heard her say yet. I've only heard lie after lie trying to cover her butt. She doesn't even talk the talk - she waffles from a pro to an anti position depending who she's talking to.

Again - if you don't like Trump - who cares - cast your vote for someone else. You're spending too much time trying to take down a candidate you wouldn't vote for to begin with. Start using your free speech to prop a candidate you support.

Therefore, the US cannot unilaterally impose tariffs in violation of existing trade pacts, and if we do, we should fully expect retaliatory trade actions.

If a country could willy nilly impose a tariff at any level and whenever, why do you think there are WTO and other international trade organizations that preside over trade disputes between nations?

Mick
I take it you're a liberal, but now you're supporting the WTO?

Hilarious.

We CAN rescind trade pacts that disadvantage American workers, we CAN impose tariffs, and we CAN deal with attempted retaliation without hurting ourselves..

That's Trump's whole point - we have terrible negotiators who don't know what they're doing.

Those "negotiators" want America to be the world's door mat.

Trump does not.

Good for Trump.

When are liberals and Democrats going to defend American workers?

That would be true if he were speaking as a businessman.

I guess it's too "hard" for liberals and Democrats 1) to see that Trump is actually on their (and America's) side when it comes to prosperity for the middle and working classes, and 2) that being a politician is different from being a businessman.

No wonder, though....Liberals have had total control of our educational system for the last fifty years....

Boeing is going to China?

If that's true, on what basis do you say Trump approves of it?

Try to hold two different concepts in your mind at the same time.

1) Trump, as a businessman, can't compete with other businessmen who are allowed by our government to produce things cheap in China.

2) Trump, as an aspiring President, is disgusted by this reality of business life -- completely created by the government and not him -- and wants to change it.

Trump is billionaire and doesn't need to make another nickel for the rest of his life.

He -- unlike other politicians -- is in a position to tell the truth, and make changes that other politicians will never make because they have been bought off by the very special interests that want to off-shore American jobs.

How often must this be said?

His business will be run by a trust if he is elected. And, of course, the fiduciary duty of the trustees will be to make a profit. That's what businesses are supposed to do.

At the same time, Trump will be working to end the "off-shoring" of good American jobs, and end the "on-shoring" of millions of legal and illegal immigrants who depress American wages and take jobs away from unskilled Americans.

He is uniquely in a position to do this.

He does not need to make another penny in his life to be well off. If his business suffers, so what? He obviously doesn't care -- his fights with NBC, Univision, Macy's and Serta haven't stopped him.

In the meantime, the Democrats and liberals will be OUTRAGED that he's actually defending American workers and America in general -- so "racist" of him, you know....so "xenophobic!"

The Dems and libs have totally lost it -- and America is waking up.

And I include in "America" ALL classes of Americans -- black, Hispanic, working class, poor.

They are being screwed, and only Trump will try to put an end to that.

Clip a clue-pon: The Republican Establishment wants endless cheap labor and to hell with Americans except the very, very rich and their paid stooges.

The Democrats want radical demographic change in order to get votes.

Neither party is good for ordinary Americans.

Several thoughts:

1. One reason food companies have been moving production out of the US is restriction on sugar imports. End them!
2. Anyone whose been in a factory lately knows mostly Hispanic people work there.
3. The company that makes them is Melendez. Doesn't that sound Mexican?
