If President Obama wins re-election will the GOP at least try to compromise and work with the other side for the sake of the nation? At some point one needs to accept that the gridlock has served to hurt the United States more than it has helped. I am an Ind and have been very critical of the Obama administration. That said we can not have 4 more years of gridlock. I don't blame it all on the right and this grid lock really started under GWB and it was the left doing it. That said if it was wrong then, isn't it also wrong now?

Why would they, if for them the nation means a few percent at the top, while the rest are merely slaves?

You are mistaken and obviously very partisan. You prove a point. Hardliners will never compromise it is an all or nothing mind set.

I simply don't care about your politics, and judge by facts.

I'm not fond of Democrats at all, but Republicans are what I've said.

We are going to have gridlock no matter who wins. After the way GOP has behaved, I don't see how Dems can support anything Romney would want to do.

Highly unlikely. The GOP has shifted so far to the right, they have created their own monster that will continue to destroy the nation at all costs. The only way the GOP would come back into sanity is if they get a spanking on the 6th or in any other election in the future.
Until then, expect the GOP to continue to be the party of "compromise means giving us everything we want"

Compromise on what?

Obama only has two plans. Tax more and spend more.

And Obama would be the only two term President that never had a budget passed.

Which bills would that be? Like the one that would slash corporate tax rates by 20% to being jobs back to america?

We do have a budget, and it's in effect until next year

Not to mention Obama hasn't even started his 2nd term yet

There are hardliners on both sides. Currently the Congress has the highest disapproval rating ever recorded. Nothing will change. For the past eight years all we have seen is "resolutions" passed. Personally I am voting against every incumbent, Dem or GOP.

IF 0bama wins (unlikely), there had better be 4 more years of gridlock or every single yay voter will be fired in 2016.
