2008 - "Final figures from nearly every state and the District of Columbia showed that more than 131 million people voted, the most ever for a presidential election. A little more than 122 million voted in 2004."
Is it going to be like 2008, 131 million?
More like 2004, 122 million?
Lower than 2004?
Higher than 2008?
Higher than 2004 but lower than 2008?
In 2008, 61.6 percent of the nation's eligible voters voted, the highest turnout rate since 1968.
I think Republican turnout will be much higher. I think Obama disappointing all of the college grads who can't get a job will put a real damper on the youth vote. Here in my part of NY, I have not seen a SINGLE Obama sign. Not one.
The GOP is working very hard to keep people from voting. Makes one think they know what happens when people vote, huh? Hmmmm.... , oh no!
I would say it looks like Democrats may also be working hard to keep people from voting....like those risking their lives defending our country. Makes one think they know what happens when members of our military vote, eh?
I think this is a nail biter. It would certainly be hard for Obama to match the historic support of his inaugural run. The young kids are largely in the tank, and demoralized, and the black vote will not be as gung ho after his lack luster debate performance.
It really will depend if Obama shows real leadership and confidence in the next few weeks, foremost in the debates. When the man is on, he is very inspiring. He needs to get that mojo back, or I see an enthusiasm gap, favoring the GOP. Michael Moore hinted at this about a month ago, and I think he was spot on.
I don't know how much turnout there will be, but early turnout has been higher even than 2008. My prediction is that if turnout is as high or higher than 08 Obama will win. If not, Obama will lose. The GOP knows this and that is why they are trying to suppress the vote.

And don't forget, ACORN has been disassembled and exposed. In fact, I don't think I have ever seen a "quieter" Presidential campaign than this one. People are scared to show support for either candidate. Or so it seems to me.
Look at what happened to that sweet little actress Stacy Dash who merely tweeted that she was voting for Romney. She was told by the oh so tolerant Left to "go kill yourself!"
Behind the voting curtain, the votes will come in overwhelmingly for Romney.
Obama's mojo. Don't make me puke. Now maybe if he played a musical instrument like Clinton's sax or something. I don't think Romney plays an instrument either, though. hmmmm Mitt should start taking electric bass lessons.
