So the latest Democratic reason that we should vote for Obama seems to be summarized as Democrats 50 years ago created jobs, and even though Clinton followed the GOP plans like cutting taxes, the growth of spending, reforming welfare, which resulted in economic recovery, we should ignore the fact that Obamas policies are the complete opposite of Clintons, but somehow we are expecting the exact same result..

Oh, and we should also count all Democratic jobs as Democratic an Republican ones as Republicans, and ignore the bs we've been told for YEARS, that jobs were a delayed indicator of an economy.

Anyone care to explain why people expect the same results from a president who's policies are the exact opposite of Clintons?

I was a Republican for over 20 years and I am voting for Obama.

And, I am voting for every Democrat on the ticket.

The GOP has gone too far right for me, so I changed parties.

My spouse is still a registered Republican and is also voting for Obama and for a Democratic senator and Democratic House of Rep candidate.

And we are in a purple state, so our 2 votes will count.

I think the GOP is going to lose big this November.

BTW, I successfully got a family member in another swing state to register to vote. And the lefities get that one too.

Because lawyers that are not allowed to practice law anymore make anything sound good to
some people who can't think for themselves or depend on the government as a lifestyle

If by chance he gets re elected, look at the mess he's going to inherit. Can he still blame Bush
or now is it Clinton fault ?

And opposite to JFK's tax cut agenda.

What I thought was a riot is one of the speakers at the Republican convention knocked lawyers, but didn't Romney graduate Harvard Law? I'm pretty sure he practiced law in Michigan. I remember when Romney himself said Obama spent too many years at Harvard. Maybe they just assume their supporters only watch Fox and listen to Rush Limbaugh. LOL

Seriously, though, to whom are you referring? Both President Obama and The First Lady have licenses in the State of Illinois contrary to internet rumors.

Are you referring to Bill Clinton? If so, you're wrong again. He received a 5 year suspension and was then eligible to reinstate his license in 2006, but something tells me he's been a little busy since then. Your comment is really laughable. The man is one of the most popular people in the country, if not the world. According to this article he passed $75 million in income from paid speaking events. So why would he need to reinstate his license to practice law?

Clinton cut the capital gains rates from 28% to 20%, and slashed taxes on 90% of small businesses.
