...and the alternative? Romney wants to spend $5 trillion in tax break breaks (over 10 years) and increase military spending by $2 trillion (over 10 years) in addition to economy and education building in the Middle East? I imagine most Republicans never past math.

Undertaking that debt to avoid another complete economic failure is the ONE reason to vote for President Obama.

There are lots more including his domestic and foreign policies.

I see no reason to vote for Romney and many reasons not to inflict him on our society and economy
.

and you fail to understand the impact of a healthy economy on tax reciepts.

Mr. Romney has an actual plan to improve the economy and all of his spending are in line with a plan to move to a balanced budget.

Mr. Obama promises more of the same... you should see the Debt clock for 2016 on the current path.

it shows 22 TRILLION.

Obama is bad for America!

R Money does not have a plan that is pure Faux Snooze & Rush BS. The only things we knows he wants to do is repeal health care reform and replace it with nothing lower the taxes on the super rich to about 1% and start a war with Russia & Iran.

But Bush left us in such a 10 trillion dollar hole that it took us another 6 trillion to get us (even slightly) going. By this reasoning, another 6 trillion in 4 years, then we should be just peachy!! Getting our economy going by going farther into debt doesn't work. Seeing how both major parties got us into this mess, then it is only logical that they cannot/will not get us out of if. But - no - you will vote democrat or republican even if it means self-destruction. Vote on morons.

Also, about $1.2 trillion (and counting) of that immediate debt was from the previous administration which refused to put the cost of the wars on the books.

And, just remember what your friend says:

"Deficits don't matter." - VP Dick Cheney

This from The Wall Street Journal/MarketWatch:
Quote:
In the 2009 fiscal year — the last of George W. Bush’s presidency — federal spending rose by 17.9% from $2.98 trillion to $3.52 trillion. [url="http://www.whitehouse.gov/omb/budget/Historicals"][b]Check the official numbers at the Office of Management and Budget.[
In fiscal 2010 — the first budget under Obama — spending fell 1.8% to $3.46 trillion.
In fiscal 2011, spending rose 4.3% to $3.60 trillion.

There has been no huge increase in spending under the current president, despite what you hear.

Obama spending binge never happened - MarketWatch

The extra $2 trillion in unwanted, unneeded defense spending isn't.

According to Mitt Romney's rhetoric, apparently the #1 reason to vote against Obama is:

Mitt Romney- For a Government that Creates Jobs Because Government Doesn't Create Jobs
