I'm still thinking the finals will be closer than that, but if Mitt can't shake his serious case of the stupids, this projection could be right on the money.

It's starting to look like this election is over before it even got started. I never gave ROMNEY HOOD much of a chance against obama, The president can set his campaign on cruise control all the way to Nov.

The debates will be key, IMHO. Romney won't be able to send his wife to stand in for him.

The debates are going to be the nail in the coffin for Mittens. He had trouble winning a debate against intellectual superpowers like Rick Perry, Herman Cain, Rick Santorum and Michelle Bachmann.

Might I remind you that Romney still hasn't selected a running mate and we're still weeks away from the convention.

Plus Reagan was trailing Carter up until the week before election day. And we all now how that turned out...

Have you ever seen Obama debate without a telepromter? Not that impressive...

Debates might matter if both candidates were neophytes. But Obama is a known and Romney has been around the track before and has a reputation as well. So the debates will just be for entertainment value this year.

I wouldn't say that. Look at George W. Bush's debate performances. He was an idiot, yet he still won. I don't think Americans pay that much attention to the debates. Maybe they pay attention to the first one, but that's about it.

He debated Hillary Clinton twenty times and John McCain three times. He seemed to come out of those pretty well.
