A sitting President should have a huge margin at this point and he does not. Showing he is weak.

Once the Santorum/Gingrich voters come over to Romney you will see Romney take a lead which should not be happening with a sitting President.

I hope this isn't changing the thread too much, but can anyone give information on previous sitting president's margins during this time of the campaign season? I'm just curious.

Approval Ratings and Re-Election Odds - NYTimes.com

Obama's 42% suggest a loss. Even worse for Obama is that the poll also shows 6% undecided of which at least 4-5% will go into the disapprove category.
"in races that include an incumbent, the traditional answers are wrong. Over 80% of the time, most or all of the undecideds voted for the challenger."

They know they are in trouble thus the reason for the coordinated attacks.

They need women voters and need to stir up their base and the only way to do that is tell them how they are getting screwed by those evil rich job creators and tell women how to live their lives.

Not working out so well. I can smell a new change coming soon as this is not working.

What is next because their plans are back firing badly.

They should be up 10-15+ points at this time and they are not.

Watch their message change soon.

Thing is they cannot run on their horrific record or they would be pushing it hard and they are not.

We saw the influence money has on elections in the Republican primary. Mitt won because he outspent his opponents.

Obama hasn't spent a dime yet and he has a few hundred million in the bank. The guy is also a master campaigner. Ask his opponents for the Illinois senate seat. This race isn't over yet.

Anyway, like all presidential elections in this day and age, it will come down to Florida and/or Ohio. Toss up.
