Santorum had almost no delegates. His entire campaign was a charade. Ron Paul has almost all the caucus delegates. The unbound delegates will mostly go to Ron Paul.
There is no way in hell the right wing machine will ever let Paul get near the nomination.
No he isn't. Because not all of the states he won were winner take all. Santorum won Colorado,Missouri and Minnesota but he did not win the majority of the delegates from these states. Same with Nevada and Iowa and Maine and Washington. Santorum I wanted to stay in the race just to slow Romney down enough to force a contested convention but now the republitards will get what they want and they will lose worse than they did in 2008.
I know they're not.
I didn't say Romney was winning more than 50% of states. I said he was winning more than 50% of delegates. And he is.
I know, I know -- you have all these arcane excuses for why, technically, someone else could win the election. Sure, sure, that's possible. Just like it's possible that after the November election the guy who appears to have won 300+ Elecotral College votes could actually lose because, he, Electors can vote any way they want (even given the laws of very dubious Constitutionality some states have to force Electors to vote as assigned by party). These things are possible ... in your fantasies. But not in reality. Romney, barring some epic scandal or illness, is the nominee. We know that long before the primary process is over, just like we knew long before the primary process was over that it was McCain in 2008. Ditto Bush in 2000, Dole in 1996, and so forth.
This idea that all (or even any significant number) of Rick Santorum's delegates are going to throw in with Ron Paul is also laughable. Seriously, what planet do you live in where you expect this to happen?

This doesn't change anything except public perception. Ron Paul still has the caucus delegates and this will be a 2 man race when/if Gingrich drops out. Don't think Newt will drop out though. He's too arrogant.
Caucus delegates don't really matter if you can't win a single primary......
None of this matters come November. As usual the republitards have picked a flip flopper aka liar conservative liberal as their nominee and they will lose.
