Thanks to you nitwits the GOP is one step closer to blowing this election cycle and putting Obama back in office. Do you morons really think this country is going to vote for Newt Gingrich? He might have the gift for the perfect response in a debate, and I know a lot of you are just dying to watch him go after Obama in a debate, but the man is unelectable in a national election. Newt will never be President of the United States.

I think Newt is the man to take on Obama. Obama will squirm in a debate with Newt. Newt's the Washington outsider who can take the moral high ground. Republicans need to rally around this great man.

Newt has as much chance of winning the presidency as the University of Tulane has of winning against the New England Patriots.

I totally agree, Gingrich has shown that he isn't interested in political gamesmanship, and he has the kind of personality that'll really help him connect with the average citizen. Add in the fact that he has a good chance of pulling in the independents (and potentially a good amount of minority voters), and I'd say South Carolina has yet again chosen the Republican candidate and likely the future POTUS.

Lol, couldn't have said it better myself (Unless you were being serious, then this is awkward).

I hope Mitt Romney wins the nomination and the presidency. The voters of South Carolina will have only themselves to blame for no longer being a bellwether primary state and hopefully they will go back to making smarter choices in the future.

Relax, relax, relax. Newt should have won SC and Romney did ok to come second.

No, I don't, but there's nothing wrong with letting the slog continue for a while.

Don't let the media convince you this is somehow a catastrophe/disaster.

It's not and they somehow forget the brawl between obama and Hillary in 2008.

This is OK. Whoever comes out the winner will be better for it.
